1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the Hurricars app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree, do not use the app.
2. The Hurricars Platform
Hurricars is a peer-to-peer vehicle marketplace that connects private sellers and buyers in the United States. We provide the platform; all transactions are between users directly.
3. Listing Rules
- Listing vehicles is completely free
- You must own or have legal authority to sell any listed vehicle
- All listings are subject to manual review before publication
- No stolen vehicles, salvage titles must be disclosed
- No fraudulent, misleading, or prohibited content
- Vehicles must be physically located in the United States
4. Top Placement Auctions
Sellers may pay to appear at the top of search results via our auction system:
- Bids are placed in real time; the highest bidder wins the placement
- Payment is only charged upon winning a slot
- If outbid, users receive a full automatic refund within 5–7 business days
- Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms
5. Prohibited Content
Users may not list: stolen vehicles, illegal weapons or modifications, fraudulent or misrepresented vehicles, or any content that violates US federal or state law.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Hurricars provides a marketplace platform only. We do not warrant the accuracy of listings, condition of vehicles, or reliability of other users. Always inspect a vehicle before purchase and verify its history via a service such as Carfax.
7. Limitation of Liability
Hurricars is not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers, vehicle defects, or losses arising from transactions conducted through the platform.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with AAA rules.
